Ted has been selected by Worth magazine as one of the country's best financial advisors, as well as listed as a top advisor in Medical Economics and Bloomberg Wealth Manager. He has been quoted and published in numerous publications, and is frequently a public speaker on financial topics. He is also actively involved in a number of professional, civic, and charitable organizations.
Samantha A. L. Macchia, CFP®, ChFC

Samantha has been providing financial and investment advisory services to clients since 1992, and always in a Fee-Only environment. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a Chartered Financial Consultant, a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living, and a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor.
Samantha is a frequent contributor to local and national publications and is active in professional organizations such as NAPFA and the Financial Planning Association. She has served as both President and Treasurer of the NAPFA Midwest Regional Board of Directors. Samantha is currently serving a three-year term as Treasurer of the NAPFA National Board.
Samantha holds a BS in Business Administration/Finance from The University of Akron. She is a frequent public speaker at events including those held by The Ohio Society of CPAs Personal Financial Planning Forum and The Ohio State University's Family Financial Management Conference. Samantha recently appeared in a live interview on CNBC's Power Lunch television program.

Brian has provided personal wealth management advice for over a decade. He holds a BS degree in family financial planning from The Ohio State University (OSU) and a Masters in Financial Planning from the College of Financial Planning. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a Chartered Financial Consultant, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ and a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor.
Brian has been named one of the top wealth managers by Bloomberg. He teaches financial planning at the OSU CFP® Certification Education Program and Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. He is an approved adjunct faculty member for the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado and has made presentations to OSU's Family Financial Management Conference. Brian is active in the Granville, Ohio community.

Tom joined our firm in 1998. He holds graduate degrees in Psychology, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor.
Tom is an Advisory Board member for myStockOptions.com. He regularly presents at conferences for wealth managers and CPAs and publishes articles in professional publications. He is frequently quoted in local and national press, including The New York Times, Kiplinger's magazine, and AARP Bulletin. Tom is active in the Financial Planning Association, American Association of Individual Investors, and NAPFA.
Liam J. Hurley, MS, CFP®, CIMA, E.A.

Liam joined Summit in 2000. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a Certified Investment Management Analyst, and Enrolled Agent licensee. He has been a wealth manager since 1989, working with executives and families during his tenure at Ernst & Young LLP and Ayco. He holds a Bachelors degree in Financial Planning/Economics and an Masters degree in Taxation.
Liam has made presentations to The Ohio State University's Family Financial Management Conference, The Mary Rutan Foundation, Springfield Planned Giving Committee, and the American Association of Individual Investors.
Joseph M. Reardon, CFP®

Joe started his career as an investment specialist with Charles Schwab & Co. in 1992, and became a Fee-Only wealth manager in 1996.
He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor. Joe holds a BS in Business Administration /Economics from The Ohio State University.
Joe is an active member of the Financial Planning Association. He joined Summit in 2002.
Joe has made presentations to the Ohio Society of CPAs Personal Financial Planning Forum.
Wendy S. Trout, CFP®

Wendy has been providing financial planning services to clients since 1995. She became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in 2002. Wendy has a Bachelors Degree in Business Operations.
Wendy is a member of the Financial Planning Association. She is also a National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) Corporate Professional Member. Wendy was recently invited to speak at a national conference, regarding the implementation and utilization of portfolio management software.
Benjamin W. Kautz

Ben began his career in financial planning as Summit's first intern in 2003. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance and Economics with a minor in Business from Ohio University. Ben is currently pursuing his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Ben is a NAPFA Corporate Professional Member and serves as the co-chair of Summit's internship program.
William S. Whitaker, CFP®

William began his career with Summit as an intern in 2004. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Family Financial Management from The Ohio State University. William is currently working toward his Masters degree in Financial Planning from The College for Financial Planning.
William is a member of the National Committee for Planned Giving (NCPG) and a NAPFA Corporate Professional Member. William serves as a volunteer with Junior Achievement, teaching economics and finance to Columbus Public School students. He has been asked to speak to The Ohio State University's chapter of the Financial Planning Association and at local events held by NAPFA. William co-chairs the internship program at Summit.
