Mark Coffey joined Summit Financial Strategies in 2010 and brings over twenty years of experience in building his own fee-only financial planning clientele. Mark is experienced in helping individuals identify and establish various goals including; pre and post retirement planning, education funding, estate planning and business succession. He has an ability to assist clients in the coordination of asset allocation among multiple retirement plan accounts, investments and businesses.
His background as an attorney has provided strategic consultation when working with clients' legal and tax advisors. Mark earned his Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School and his undergraduate degree from Bethany College in West Virginia. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
Mark is currently serving as President of The Temple Israel Foundation and on several community boards and committees including Chairman of The Columbus Estate Planning Council and on the boards of the Columbus Jewish Foundation, the German Village Society and Temple Israel. He lives in Bexley with his family and enjoys playing tennis, golf and spending time at their lake house on Lake Erie.
