Summit Financial Strategies, Inc. is pleased to announce is has been named to the Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers (RIAs).  The list recognizes top independent RIA firms across the United States.

This is the fifth annual FT 300 list, produced independently by the Financial Times Ltd. in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT that provides business intelligence on the investment management industry.

The median FT 300 firm has 13 employees and manages $1.7 billion in assets.

The 300 top RIAs hail from 38 states and Washington, D.C.  Summit Financial Strategies, Inc. is one of thirteen firms from the state of Ohio named to the list.

More than 2,000 pre-screened RIA firms were invited to apply for consideration, based on their assets under management (AUM).  Applicants that applied were then graded on six criteria: AUM; AUM growth rate; companies’ years in existence; compliance record; industry certifications; and online accessibility. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to The Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 300.

The FT 300 is based on data gathered from RIA firms, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. As identified by the FT, the listing reflected each practice’s performance in six primary areas, including assets under management, assets under management growth rate, companies’ years in existence, compliance record, industry certifications, and online accessibility.
