At the core of Summit Financial Strategies, we’re a group of humans looking to work for and partner with all people, regardless of what you look like, what you believe in, where you come from, or who you love. We’ve seen firsthand how cultural differences can broaden perspectives, challenge thought patterns, and make us better.
We are committed to our current and future efforts toward diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and we believe it’s important to back up our desires with real, tangible change. So, we’ve implemented both internal and external strategies to keep DEI top of mind in our culture and our community:
We prioritize diversity.
We’re proud to be a woman-led company, but we consistently look to improve the diversity of our team in every area. It’s a core value at the top of both our hiring practices and our client relationships.
We invest in time together.
One of the best ways to make all people feel welcome, safe, and motivated is simply to spend time together. We have regular team outings and activities that allow us to know each other on a deeper level and gain more trust and respect for each person’s story.
We fund a scholarship program.
We partner with The Ohio State University to offer a scholarship – The Summit Financial Strategies, Inc. “Now to Next” Scholarship – designed to cultivate a workforce for and from communities who are under-served, underrepresented in this industry, and who are facing some of the greatest financial hardships.
Our biggest dream is to one day delete this page from our website, with the hope that the world’s commitment to DEI is an expectation, not a surprise.
