Mike serves as Summit’s Chief Financial Officer and began his career with the company in 2006. He enjoys working with a broad array of clients, from business owners to corporate executives. He has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal numerous times and has given presentations to local and national groups regarding cash flow management, retirement planning and investment analysis and planning.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a focus in Microeconomics from Miami University and obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2010.

He lives in Westerville with his wife Megan and son Elliott. He and Megan founded and run Worth the Wait, a nonprofit dedicated to helping young adult cancer survivors preserve fertility prior to cancer treatment, or to receive grants for fertility treatments or adoption assistance post-treatment.

Mike also volunteers as a mentor to cancer survivors through Imerman Angels. Mike has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the James Cancer Hospital as a Pelotonia rider and team captain since 2010. He currently serves on the Endowment Committee for his church, helping manage their investment fund as well as awarding grants for service projects and missions.
